In addition to her primary work with the Full-Time students in the MBA program, she also provides occasional coaching and programming support for the working professional students in Poole College’s Online MBA, Master of Management, Marketing Analytics (MMA), and Master of Management, Risk and Analytics (MRA) programs.

Heather brings 20 years of experience spanning software engineering, data analytics, HR operations and talent acquisition, and career services across the technology, insurance, and higher education sectors.

Heather began her career as a software engineer at IBM in RTP after completing a BS in Computer Science from the UNC Chapel Hill. She pivoted her career with a master’s in career counseling from North Carolina Central University, and has since enjoyed roles promoting life-long career success to students and early career professionals at Enact, Duke University, and, most recently, New York University, where she led a team of five to expand and scale graduate career services across NYU’s student population of 40,000.

Heather is ultimately focused on helping people navigate their careers and figure out their next move.
