Reason you chose the MRA Program: I chose NC State’s Master of Management, Risk and Analytics program because it
sits at the intersection of three capabilities that influence modern leadership: strategic decision-making, risk management, and data-driven insight. As a Third Party Risk Program Manager at NetApp, I work with global stakeholders to help the
business navigate uncertainty, strengthen resilience, and make informed decisions. I recognized that the future of risk
leadership requires more than technical expertise. It requires the ability to translate complex data into business strategy
and influence decisions at the executive level.

What stood out most about the MRA program was its unique combination of analytics, enterprise risk management, and
real-world application. The program’s close connection to NC State’s Enterprise Risk Management Initiative provides
direct access to thought leaders who are shaping how organizations approach risk in an increasingly complex
environment. I have strengthened my ability to connect risk insights with organizational outcomes through hands-on
projects, industry collaboration, and exposure to diverse business challenges.

My goal is to help organizations view risk not as a compliance exercise, but as a strategic advantage that enables
innovation, growth, and long-term success. The MRA program is providing the foundation, perspective, and leadership
skills necessary to drive that vision and create meaningful impact across the enterprise. I look forward to connecting with
prospective students and sharing how the program has helped accelerate my professional growth.
